Statement from the Seismic & RealMusic Events team:
Here we have it! The full lineup of headlining acts for Seismic 3.3 on May 21-23 weekend of 2021! ๐๐
This is by far our favorite lineup to date so we’re doing everything in our power to format this event safely and to ensure it will take place. Let’s talk about that… ultimately time will tell over the next few months, but we’ve put in place a strong set of covid safety measures and back-up plans to make this a viable event in our current climate. We have a public health & safety organization assisting us on executing that plan.
Seismic has always been an intimate boutique festival which is so crucial for that really special niche vibe, but it also plays in our favor in terms of the feasibility of our event taking place in May. We’ll be capping at a little less than normal at 2,500 attendees and that’s over multiple areas across a 7+ acre property. Some of our arrangements include screening upon check-in, masks on at all times, and enacting a pod-style format where attendees file into an available pod at each stage, all of which will have personnel dedicated to monitoring & enforcing the guidelines. We’ve seen how successfully & safely pod-style events can be structured, many of which have welcomed even more attendees than our cap. (PS venue is a new location right next door to the Austin airport. We have more to show you about the space next week!)
It is important to note that in the event Seismic needs to be rescheduled (worst case scenario), the event will be pushed to November (12-14). All tickets will be transferred to the new dates but ticket holders can also opt to skip November and put their tickets towards Seismic in 2022 instead, should they desire. We also offer a ticket upgrade which guarantees a refund at any point should that ticket holder decide against attending and prefers a refund rather than transfer.
With all that said, we are SO EXCITED for this lineup and look forward to dancing out all our built up 2020/21 energy.
